RECOMMENDATION:
City staff is recommending that the City Council call for a special meeting where the City Council will be
presented the results of the Wastewater Master Plan.

BACKG ROUND/J USTI FICATION:
On July 25, 2016, the City Council entered into a contract with AE2S to complete a wastewater master plan.
Since that time, Scott Schaefer, his AE2S team, and City staff have been working together to complete the
scope of services. There have also been a number of "check-in" meetings with both the Public Works
Subcommittee and the City Council.
The master plan has now been completed, with the results needing to be communicated with the City
Council. City staff and Scott Schaefer request a work session meeting with the City Council in order to
review the master plan.
The suggested special meeting is for January 22, 2018 at 6PM. There will additionally be a related item on
the agenda for the regular City Council meeting immediately following at 7PM.
