City staff is seeking direction from the City Council on scheduling a performance review for the City
Administrator.

BACKGROUND/J USTI FICATION:
The employment agreement for the City Administrator outlines that the City Council shall review and
evaluate the performance of the City Administrator on a semi-annual basis for the first two years of
employment.
The City Council appointed City Administrator Flaherty on April 19, 2017. The initial performance review
was conducted on July 31, 2017. The date for a semi-annual performance review is approaching.
City staff is seeking direction from the City Council on scheduling the respective performance review.
