IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? Yes No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: The City requested quotes from 3 contractors. All three attended a mandatory pre -quote meeting at Pumphouse #4 held last week. Quotes were received from two of the three contractors and Land Pride was the lowest at $36,950.00. Included in the quotes is salvaging and delivering the 14,000 gallon pressure tank to the City for public works for repurposing as a brine mixing and storage tank. Quotes were as follows: Land Pride Construction, LLC $36,950.00 Northdale Construction Co., Inc. $67,750.36 Schulander Construction, Inc. No quote submitted The Kadler Avenue Watermain project as a whole continues to be within the budgeted amount. Only remaining item is electrical upgrade quotes which are expected to be available at an upcoming council meeting for approval.
