Approve a resolution ordering preparation of plans and specifications for the improvement of streets
within Mississippi Shores and a portion of Antelope Park subdivisions.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
In accordance with MN State Statue 429, a resolution ordering plans and specifications is required to assess
all or a portion of the project.
The total estimated project cost is $1,541,760 and is proposed to be funded using 50% assessments and
50% City funds.

RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS WITHIN THE
MISSISSIPPI SHORES AND A PORTION OF ANTELOPE PARK SUBDIVISIONS
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 26th
day of
February 2018, ordering Hakanson Anderson to prepare plans and specifications
for the improvement of streets within Mississippi Shores Additions and a portion of
Antelope Park subdivision (Ohland Avenue and 92nd
Street);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. Hakanson Anderson is hereby designated as the engineer for this
improvement, and are hereby directed and authorized to prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvements.
Adopted by the council this 26th day of February, 2018.
