She and Beatty did everything in the beginning from scrubbing toilets, taking minutes, working into the wee hours of the morning and hand counting election votes. Hudson calls her experience"a most unique opportunity to be a part of the city of Otsego."She fondly recalls working with all three city mayors and 14 different City Council members who have all been very supportive. She describes the past 20 years as "extremely busy and very interesting to work with residents, staff and developers. It's been wonderful." Hudson says she will particularly miss all of the city staff. "We've been through great times, good and sad times. It has been very memorable. The city will be in good hands." It sounds like Hudson will still be a busy person with many things planned for the future. She will be moving to Meeker County with husband Jerry who is already retired. They look forward to being closer to family and living a more relaxed lifestyle. Elections have been one of Hudson's responsibilities including this past fall when they processed 6,500 voters. Said Hudson "I can't wait to just sit at home and watch the election results on TV." . .... .... .... ..
