The sixth annual Otsego Festival promises to be a day
_ of fun with something for everyone on Saturday

September 15`h in Otsego Prairie Park located behind
.--9' City Hall. Food, crafters, businesses, community
r '„.-. , p- information, large inflatables, entertainment, games, a
' ' classic car show and much more will fill the day with
amusements for all.
The Festival starts with an opening flag ceremony at
10:00 a..m by the Wright County Sheriff Horse Patrol.
Otsego's royalty will be at 1:00 p.m. Activities continue

Highway 101 is in its second year of construction and is on schedule to be completed
NO S in 2008. The good weather has kept everything going as planned. Three of the four
Highway 101 interchanges will be completed and opened for public use this year.
These interchanges are County roads 36, 37, and 42. Construction at County Road 39
from the began just this summer and will be completed near the end of 2008.

I expect to see many more new businesses come to Otsego.
As you know, the housing market is somewhat slow. New homes still sell quite well
by [1lajor Larry Fournier in Otsego. We expect the new housing market to fall well within the City Council's
y guide lines for number of new homes being constructed.
Otsego's festival, "The great Otsego get together" will be held on Saturday
September 15`h. It has been a huge success in past years and promises to be even bigger and better this year. I look
forward to seeing all of you there.
