New "Otsego Corners" is busy place
Otsego businesses once flourished in the historic village of
Otsego from the 1850's through the turn ofthe century.The
village was located in Sections 17 and 18 by the old city hall
It became known as"Otsego Corners."
A flurry of construction activity this summer at the Co.
Rd.39 and Parrish Ave.intersection may establish this as the
new Otsego Corners. ,"
The closing of the Co. Rd. 39 and Hwy. 101 intersection

has caused an increase in traffic in the area as cars are
detoured through the Co. Rd. 39 and Parrish Ave. intersec- , �'
tion.The highway intersection is being upgraded for the new .
four lane highway. A signaled intersection with turn lanes
