Parking.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The attached City Code amendment provides for enforcement actions related to regulating on -Street
Parking. The amendment includes verbiage change to include the addition of "recreational vehicles" that
may not be parked on public streets, boulevards, ditches and right-of-ways within the City. The draft
ordinance was reviewed at the June Public Works Subcommittee with recommendation for approval.

CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE REGULATING ON -STREET
PARKING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 8-3-2.b of the City Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
B. Trucks, Semi-Tractor/Trailers, Recreational Vehicles and
Equipment, and Commercial Vehicles. Trucks, semi-tractor/trailers,
recreational vehicles and equipment, and commercial vehicles with
a Class -4 rating or higher or an overall length greater than twenty
five (25) feet shall not be parked on public streets, boulevards,
ditches and rights-of-way within the City.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and publication.
