ORDINANCE NO. x_03
AN ORDINANCE PLACING A MORATORIUM ON THE PERMITTING AND SITING OF
OFF PREMISE ADVERTISING SIGNS LARGER THAN THIRTY-TWO (32) SQUARE
FEET.IN SIZE WITHIN THE CITY OF OTSEGO,,WRIGHT.COUNTY, MINNESOTA.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Otsego as follows:
Section 1. Moratorium. No off premise advertising sign
shall be erected, and no permit or conditional use permit shall
be issued by the City for the placement of an off premise
advertising sign which is larger than thirty=two (32) square
feet in size in any zoning district of the City for a period of
180 days from the effective date of passage of this Ordinance.
Section 2. Violation. The City may enforce any provision
of this Ordinance by mandamusy injunction) or any other
appropriate.civil remedy in any Court of competent jurisdiction.
Section 3. Effective -Date and Term of Ordinance. This
Ordinance shall be in force and ect from its passage and
publication according to law and shall be in effect for a period
of 180 days from its effective date.
