AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY OF OTSEGO TO FURNISH OFFICIAL BONDS AND FIXING THE
AMOUNTS THEREOF
The City Council of the City of Otsego, Minnesota,
ordains:
Section 1. The following officers and employees of the
City of Otsego, before entering upon the discharge of their
duties, shall each execute and furnish an offical bond, the
respective amounts thereof to be as follows:
CITY CLERK ........................$ 100,000.00
DEPUTY CITY CLERK .................$ 100000.00
CITY TREASURER ....................$ ion -,08.00
SECRETARY .........................$ 100 000_00
Section 2. The official bonds of all officers and
employees shall be executed in favor of the City of Otsego,
Minnesota, and shall be approved and filed.as required by
law.
Section 3. The official bond of each officer and
employee shall be executed in such form as to require the
faithful performance of official duties and the proper
application of, and payment upon demand for, all moneys
officially received by each such officer and employee.
Section 4. The offical bond of each officer and
employee required to be furnished shall be covered by a
blanket bond obtained by the city. (a corporate surety
bond.)
Section 5. The premiums for the offical bonds shall be
paid from the general fund of the City of Otsego.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be and
remain in.force from and after its passage and publication.
