AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE TO ESTABLISH A 500 FOOT
SETBACK FROM PUBLIC PARK PROPERTY Fo THE PERMITTED USE OF
FIREARMS OUTSIDE OF THE NO DISCHARGE ZONEA
THE CITY COUNCIL F THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN.
Section 1, Section 5-2-4 of the City Code is hereby amended to add the
following prevision:
F. By any person using projectiles for target practice or hunting provided that the
discharge occurs at least fire hundred Soo feet from any property line abutting
public park property ert (not including wildlife management areas or other State
owned land on which hunting is allowed).
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and publication.
