Recommend setting the remaining Council meeting schedule for the 2014 budget and capital
improvement plain CIP discussions priort adoption at the previously scheduled December 9 Council
meeting.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The City Council held several b ld t meetings priort setting ta preliminary tax leery in September.
The final budget and leery adoption meeting is set for December 9. Prior to that meeting, the enterprise,
debt, and special revenge fund budgets and the CiP need to be presented for input and direction from
the Council. Further, additional discussion is needed on the General Fund budget before presentation at
the December 9 meeting.
Attached is a proposed meeting schedule for the purposes stated above. All of the budget meetings will
e held on regular meeting nights with the exception of the CIP meeting scheduled for November 4. The
schedule includes supplementary meeting date, November 25, that can be called in the event that the
discussion carries beyond the November 12 meeting.
The Administrative Subcommittee reviewed the proposed schedule at its October meeting and
recornmends approval.
