NO. 94-10
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING OTSEGO ORDINANCE NO. 91-08 TO PROVIDE FOR
LOWER LIMITS OF FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS
OR OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHICH ARE ISSUED A TEMPORARY ON -
SALE LICENSE BY THE CITY.
The City Council of the City of Otsego ordains:
Section 1. Otsego Ordinance No. 91-08, An Ordinance Licensing And
Regulating The Sale And Consumption Of Intoxicating Liquor, And
Wine, And Providing A Penalty For Violation, Section 3, Subd. (a)2
is amended by adding this additional paragraph:
"Notwithstanding the requirements listed above, any
charitable, religious or other non-profit organizations
qualified under 501,c of the Internal Revenue Code, which
is issued a Temporary On -Sale License pursuant to Section
2, Subd. 3 of this ordinance, need only provide a
certificate showing insurance against general liability
and that imposed by Minn. Stat. 340A.801 in the amount of
$500,000.00 coverage for bodily injury to any one person
in any one occurrence, $5Q01000.00 coverage for two or
more persons in any one occurrence, $100,000.00 coverage
because of injury to or destruction of property of others
in any one occurrence, $100,000.00 coverage for loss of
means of support of any one person in any occurrence, and
$100,000.00 or loss of means of support of two or more
persons in any one occurrence.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and
publication according to law.
