Staff recommends approval of Sunram Construction, Inc. Pay Request #2 in the amount of $162,317.57 for
the construction of Norin Landing Park.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Construction of Norin Landing Park started in August 2018 and is currently stopped due to weather
conditions and will begin again in the spring of 2019. Items which have been completed include the trail,
curb and gutter, and the base course of the parking lot. Installation of the landscaping, parking lot wear
course, and items connected with the shelter will be completed in the spring of 2019.
Sunram Company has submitted their second pay request in the amount of $162,317.57. In accordance
with Minnesota State Statue 337.10, the City is withholding the maximum 5% retainage of work
completed, which accounts for $15,046.96 of the completed total of $300,939.10.
