RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of Sunram Construction, Inc. Pay Request #3 in the amount of $119,744.96 for
the construction of Norin Landing Park.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Construction of Norin Landing Park began in August 2018 and is slated for completion in the spring of 2019.
The majority of the construction of the park is complete with the final lift of asphalt in the parking lot,
landscaping, and installation of picnic tables and other minor equipment left to complete.
Sunram Construction, Inc. has submitted their third pay request in the amount of $126,047.32. In
accordance with Minnesota State Statue 337.10, the City is withholding the maximum 5% retainage of
work completed, which accounts for $6,302.36. After factoring in the 5% retainage, Sunram Construction
Inc. request is $119,744.96.
