RECOMMENDATION:
City staff is recommending that the City Council schedule the Board of Appeal and Equalization.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Wright County has scheduled a tentative date of Monday, April 22, 2019 at 5:30 PM for the Board of Appeal and
Equalization meeting. A formal motion from the City Council is needed to confirm the meeting. In the past we
have scheduled the regular City Council meeting to immediately follow the Board of Appeal and City Staff
recommends the same this year.
Minnesota Statues require that there must be a quorum in attendance at the meeting and at least one of the
voting members must have attended the approved training. Records show Mayor Stockamp and Councilmember
Tanner are trained until 2021. The online training closed February 1St. I will send out online training information
when it re -opens.

Prairie Center, 8899 Nashua Avenue NE, with the regular scheduled City Council meeting to immediately
follow.
