Call to Order.
Chair Black called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Pam Black; Commissioners: Aaron Stritesky, Roger Mord, Dave
Thompson, and Alan Offerman; Absent: Commissioners Steve Schuck, Jim Kolles, and
Richard Nichols; City Council: CM Vern Heidner, CM Jason Warehime. City Staff: City
Planner, Daniel Licht and Administrative Assistant, Kelly Thelen.
1. Announcements:
None.
2 Consider the following minutes:
2.1 October 15, 2018 Planning Commission Meeting_
Commissioner Offerman motioned to approve. Seconded by Commissioner
Stritesky. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Public Hearing Item:
3.1 Amendment Section 11-17-12 Requiring Storm Shelters.
City Planner Licht said that City staff recommends to open the public hearing and
continue the discussion to December 17, 2018 due to information received on Friday,
November 30th.
Chair Black opened the public hearing at 7:03 PM.
No comments made.
Commissioner Thompson motioned to continue on the public hearing to
December 17t". Second by Commissioner Stitesky. All in favor. Motion
carried.
3.2 Amendment Urban Staging Plan and Future Land Use Plan maps of the
Comprehensive Plan.
City Planner Licht presented the Planning Report.
Chair Black opened the Public Hearing at 7:07 PM.

Chair Black brought the discussion to the Planning Commission members.

Chair Black asked for additional public comment.
No comments made.
Chair Black closed the Public Hearing at 7:09 PM.
Commissioner Stritesky motioned to recommend approval of an amendment
of the 2012 Comprehensive Plan related to the Urban Service Staging Plan.
Second by Commissioner Thompson. All in favor. Motion carried.
4. Update on City Council actions.
Council Member Heidner updated the Planning Commission on recent City Council
actions.
5. Update on future Planning Commission Agenda items.
City Planner Licht updated the commissioners on possible future agenda items.
6. Adjourn.
