Chief Tate Mills, Chief Markinson, Steve Dittbenner 1. Approve Agenda: Motioned by Bill Adberhalden and seconded by Dan Freiberg. Approved unani- mously 2. Approve meeting minutes from January 8th, 2019. Motioned by Bill Adberhalden and seconded by Paul Fields. Approved Unanimously. 3. Open forum -Welcome Commissioner Heidner -Bill mentioned a city resident complained about the brightness of the city snowplow lights. The Mayor and Councilman Warehime said they would discuss the lights with the Director of the Highway Dept. to verify DOT compliance. -Discussed fire hydrant snow removal. Updates: Elk River Fire Department - Mark Dickinson -57 calls in January, 12 in Otsego. -New watertender inbound with a 3,000 gallon capacity. -Elk River Fire Academy has started. Ambulance No one present Albertville Fire Department- Asst. Chief Tate Mills -There were 366 calls last year, there are currently 67 calls this year. -(1) recruit going through the Elk River Fire Academy -(2) recruits going through Customized Rescue Academy. -Two new fire apparatus in Albertville due around June 2019. Rogers Fire Department No one present WCSO - Deputy Eric Thole -Crashes have increased due to weather. -Lift assist calls to Guardian Angels Assisted Living have reduced. -Sheriff Sean Deringer has taken office. Old business: None New business: Steve Dittbenner answered questions regarding ambulance responses to Otsego and how Elk River Ambulance provides services. Questions were fielded on potential areas to look at to enhance services. The potential for staging an ambulance in Otsego can be discussed when the city has a facility that can house the ambulance and staff. Motion to adjourn by Bill Abderhalden, seconded by Paul Fields.
