BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
All improvements (public and private) for the Wildflower Villas were constructed in 2016 with the final
bituminous lift being placed June 2017. The public improvements include watermain and service, sanitary
sewer and services, and storm sewer. All streets are considered private. An initial acceptance walk-thru of
the public improvements was completed June 30, 2017. As -built plans dated January 4, 2018 have been
received and found acceptable. An acceptable warranty period has passed and a Final Acceptance walk-
thru was completed December 8, 2018. All items have now been successfully completed.
Staff recommends that all public improvements receive final acceptance by resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 2019-15
CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR
WILDFLOWER VILLAS.
WHEREAS, the City Council approved the final plat of Wildflower Meadows
Villas (the "plat"); and,
WHEREAS, the City and Developer (Katricia, LLC) entered into a Developers
Agreement September 12, 2016 for Wildflower Meadows Villas and recorded with
Wright County regarding approval of the plat and installation of required public
improvements within the plat; and,
WHEREAS, all streets within the Plat (all are private streets), including
bituminous base and wear course paving, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and grading have
been completed; and,
WHEREAS, all public utility improvements, including watermain and services,
sanitary sewer main and services, and storm sewer have been completed; and,
WHEREAS, all public improvements were constructed in accordance with City
standards, Code and approved plans within the plat; and,
WHEREAS, an initial acceptance inspection of the public improvements within
the plat was conducted on June 30, 2017 with City staff and the Developer, and all
remaining items have been successfully completed.
WHEREAS, an acceptable warranty period, per the Developers Agreement, has
passed.
WHEREAS, a final acceptance inspection of the public improvements within the
plat was conducted on December 8, 2018 with City staff and the Developer, and all
remaining items have been successfully completed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OTSEGO
MINNESOTA THAT
1. All improvements lying within public easements and public right-of-way shall be
come City property as of the December 8, 2018.
