BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The City of Otsego is currently the owner of three parcels of undeveloped property. During 2018 Strategic
Planning sessions, the City Council identified a priority of marketing the parcels for development.
The Economic Development Authority (EDA) discussed this topic at their January 28, 2019 meeting. It was
concurred that the best approach would be to have a special meeting scheduled for discussions with
multiple brokers.
In accordance with this previous direction, City staff has arranged for the City Council to meet with two
brokers on May 13, 2019. Each broker will have up to 45 minutes for discussion with the City Council.

Motion to call for a special City Council meeting on May 13, 2019 at 5:30PM to be held at the Prairie Center
