BACKGROUND/J USTI FICATION:
Phillis Lehrke has made a financial contribution to the City to landscape the area near the Dale Lehrke
Soccer Complex signage. Dale Lehrke was an Otsego resident, former TRSA Board member, and TRSA
coach when he unexpectedly passed away in February of 2014. The City Council voted unanimously to
name the new soccer fields at Prairie Park the Dale Lehrke Soccer Complex.

RESOLUTION NO. 2019-31
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM PHILLIS LEHRKE TO THE CITY OF OTSEGO
WHEREAS, Phillis Lehrke has made a cash donation of $200.00 to the City of
Otsego; and,
WHEREAS, the donation to the City of Otsego is for the purpose of landscaping
the area near the Dale Lehrke Soccer Complex signage; and,
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations or
real or personal property be accepted only with adoption of a resolution of the
governing body; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks Phillis Lehrke for the generous
donation; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Otsego, Wright County, Minnesota that the donation by Phillis Lehrke is hereby
accepted.
ADOPTED this 10th day of June, 2019 by the Otsego City Council.
