CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING THE NO SNOWMOBILE ZONE WITHIN THE CITY OF
OTSEGO.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 8-1-5 of the City Code is hereby amended to include the
following provision:
Q. Not withstanding the provisions of Sections 8-1-5.A through 8-1-5.P
above, operation of snowmobiles except on private property by the owner
or with the written permission of the owner shall be prohibited east of, and
including both sides of the public street and right-of-way, a line along
Nashua Avenue from the Mississippi River to 70th Street and north of, and
including both sides of the public street and right-of-way, a line along 70"'
Street from Nashua Avenue to the Mississippi River, but specifically
excluding that portion of the 70th Street right-of-way from the west wile of
the Oakwood Avenue right-of-way east to the east line of the plat of LIN -
BAR Estates and the plat of LIN -BAR Estates. (Ord. 2005-01, adopted
January 10, 2005)
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and publication.
