Call to Order.
Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM.
Roll Call:
Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Corey Tanner and Tina Goede. Absent: Councilmembers Tom
Darkenwald and Jason Warehime. Staff: Adam Flaherty, City Administrator/Finance Director; Daniel
Licht, City Planner; Andy MacArthur, City Attorney; Ron Wagner, City Engineer; and Tami Loff, City
Clerk.
Pledge of Allegiance: Mayor Stockamp led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

CM Goede motioned to approve as written. Seconded by CM Tanner. All in favor. Motion

4. Citv Council Reports and Updates.
4.1 Commission Liaison Uadates.
A. Heritage Preservation Commission Liaison CM Tanner.
CM Tanner said the commission has canceled their September meeting due to lack of quorum and that
the Commissioners are all ready for the Festival and their exhibit. He also stated the Commission may
have an applicant coming in for the open commission seat.
B. Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Mayor Stockamp.
Mayor Stockamp said the Commissiners held their meeting at Carricks Landing and toured Guardian
Angels.
C. Planning Commission Liaison CM Darkenwald.

CM Darkenwald was absent, however there were no meetings in August to report on.
D. Public Safety Commission Liaison CM Warehime.
Mayor Stockamp said the meeting was just updates with no action items.
5. Staff Reports and Updates.
City Administrator Flaherty questioned if the City Council would be interested in holding a Grand Opening
for 85th Street. The City Council concurred and directed City staff to also invite the school district. He
reminded the City Council that offices are closed Monday for Labor Day and he asked the City Council if
they were able to take a look at the two options for street lights for Waterfront West. The City Council
concurred to add this to the September 9th for action. City Attorney MacArthur stated after review of the
state statute he concluded that all the money collected thus far has to be used for lighting and as an
example, it cannot be added to the general fund.
City Clerk Loff stated the City of Otsego app is now live and we have 146 users at this time.
City Planner Licht stated the next Planning Commission meeting is September 16th. City Engineer
Wagner gave some project updates. He stated Mason Avenue will need to be closed for about a week;
City staff will contact property owners and will be watching 83rd gravel road for additional use during
that time and will water when needed.

CM Tanner motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Goede. All in favor. Motion carried 3-0.
