Motion to adopt Ordinance 2019-18 amending the City Code regarding temporary no parking zones.

ORDINANCE NO.: 2019-18
CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE REGARDING TEMPORARY NO
PARKING ZONES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Title 7-2-2.A of the City Code (General Parking Prohibitions) is
hereby amended to add the following provision with subsequent sections renumbered
accordingly:
3. The Street Operations Manager is hereby authorized to forbid parking of all vehicles for
temporary periods in case of emergency, street maintenance, or public events at any place
within the city.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and publication.
