Chair Angie Dehn called the meeting to order at 6:50 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Angie Dehn; Commissioners: Jim Breitbach, Kitty Baltos, Angela Hilde,
Derrick Stark, Doug Cassady and Matt Killam (left early).
Absent: Commissioner: Travis Rittenbach
City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp
Staff: Ross Demant, Parks and Recreation Director, Nick Jacobs, Park Maintenance II,
and Connie Schwecke, Administrative Assistant.
1.Open Forum.
2.Consider Agenda Approval.
Commissioner Baltos motioned to approve the agenda. Seconded by
Commissioner Hilde. All in favor. Motion carried.
3.Consider Meeting Minutes.
3.1 June 18, 2019 Regular Meeting Minutes.
Chair Dehn motioned to recommend to the City Council to approve the
regular meeting minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner
Breitbach. All in favor. Motion carried.
4.Unfinished Business.
5.New Business.
5.1 Otsego Prairie Park Master Plan.
Parks and Recreation Director Demant reviewed the future Park Master Planning for
Prairie Park, Highland Park, Wilson Preserve, Carrick's Waterfront Park and Ashwood
Park. After the discussion, the commissioners agreed to table their recommendation
until the September17 meeting.
6.Parks and Recreation Director Update.
Parks and Recreation Director Demant discussed Lefevbre Creek Greenway, Farmers
Market, SOAR Theater in the Park, the Drive In Movie and other upcoming programs.
7.City Council Reports.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp gave an update to the commissioners.
8.Adjourn.
