Approve closing City Hall on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 12-1 PM for the Employee Recognition
Luncheon and to close City Hall at noon on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
City staff is looking for approval to close City Hall for one hour during the Employee Recognition Luncheon
on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Prairie Center; this is consistent with past
practice.
In addition City staff is also looking for approval to close City Hall at noon on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
New Year’s Eve Day is not a holiday per the City’s personnel policy but tends to be low activity and minimal
staff due to use of PTO.
