BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The previous Premise Permit for Riverwood Tavern expired December 31, 2019. City staff received an
application from Rogers Youth Hockey Association for a Premise Permit at Riverwood Tavern, 10247 95th
Street NE. Rogers Youth Hockey Association is within the City of Otsego trade area defined by Title 4,
Chapter 7, and Section 4 of the City Code as Otsego, Rogers, Albertville, Monticello and Monticello
Township. The application and fee have been received and the background check completed.

RESOLUTION NO: 2020-03
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PREMISE PERMIT
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego allows charitable gambling within the City subject to restrictions set forth in
Title 4, Chapter 7 of the City Code; and
WHEREAS, the Rogers Youth Hockey Association has submitted a complete application for premises of
charitable gambling at Riverwood Tavern, 10247 95th Street NE; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the application and received a report on the background
investigation and finds the request has met criteria set forth in the City Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. A Premise Permit for Rogers Youth Hockey Association at Riverwood Tavern, 10247 95th Street NE,
Otsego, MN 55362 is hereby approved.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 13th day of January, 2020.
