CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE RELATED TO HALF
STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 21-7-7.J. of the Subdivision Ordinance is hereby amended to
read as follows:
J. Half streets: Half streets shall be prohibited except where it will be
practical to require the dedication of the other half when the
adjoining property is subdivided, in which case the dedication of a
half street may be permitted. The probable time elapsing before
dedication of the remainder shall be considered in this decision. All
undeveloped lots, outlots or parcels having access only from a half
street are prohibited from being eligible for building permits except
as may be allowed by the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and publication.
