JANUARY 27, 2020
Call to Order.
Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 8:24 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Tom Darkenwald, Jason Warehime, Corey Tanner,
and Tina Goede. Staff: Adam Flaherty, City Administrator/Finance Director; Dan Licht, City Planner; Ross
Demant, Parks & Recreation Director and Tami Loff, City Clerk.
1. School District No. 728 Partnersh
City Administrator/Finance Director Flaherty distributed a Letter from Independent School District 728
Dr. Dan Bittman which outlined feedback from community members regarding the School Districts
Strategic Plan.
Parks & Recreation Director Demant reviewed the preliminary conversations with the School District on
partnerships. Parks & Recreation Director Demant stated the intent would be for the City to work with
ISD 728 on partnership regarding the scheduling to maximize the field scheduling. He discussed options
that would go along with the City's Park & Recreation Master Plan.
The City Council and staff further discussed the potential partnership with the School District on facilities
and amenities. They also discussed the need of a joint powers agreement. The City Council concurred
for City staff to continue conversations with the School District and to scheduling another meeting
pending those conversations.

CM Darkenwald motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion carried.
