FEBRUARY 24, 2020
Call to Order.
Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 8:17 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Tom Darkenwald, Jason Warehime and Corey
Tanner. Absent: Councilmember Tina Goede. Staff: Adam Flaherty, City Administrator/Finance Director;
Dan Licht, City Planner; Ross Demant, Parks & Recreation Director; and Tami Loff, City Clerk.
1. School District No. 728 Partnerships.
City Administrator/Finance Director Flaherty distributed three sheets of information for this meeting
this evening. Parks & Recreation Director Demant, City Planner Licht and Administrator/Finance Director
Flaherty reviewed the ISD 728 and City of Otsego planning options that came after they met with the
School District. The City Council discussed those options in detail which included a walking track, office
space, meeting rooms, restrooms, a fitness gym etc. Mayor Stockamp and CM Warehime were
conflicted on whether a walking track was needed. Mayor Stockamp was also concerned if this fits into
the Parks & Recreation Master Plan being it would not be centrally located. The School District has
asked for 1-2 Representatives from the City Council to help with designing. The City Council concurred
that Mayor Stockamp, Councilmember Jason Warehime, and Parks & Recreation Director Demant would
tour the Mora Field House facility and also set up a meeting with School District officials. This item will
be added to the March 9 special agenda for discussion.

CM Darkenwald motioned to adjourn at 9:39 PM. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion
carried.
