Elk River.

BACKGROUND/J USTIFICATION:
The Bank of Elk River has generously donated old framed City photos of Otsego that used to hang within
the Bank to the City's Heritage Preservation Commission. The photos will be cleaned and displayed within
City Hall and/or Prairie Center.

RESOLUTION NO: 2020-18
ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE BANK OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, The Bank of Elk River has made a donation of old framed City photos that used to be displayed
within the bank; and,
WHEREAS, the donation to the City of Otsego's Heritage Preservation Commission is for the purpose of
preserving those City keepsakes; and,
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property be
accepted only with adoption of a resolution of the governing body; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks The Bank of Elk River for their donation; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the donation by The Bank of Elk River is hereby accepted.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 23rd day of March, 2020.
