OTSEGO CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING

Call to Order.
Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 2:07 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Corey Tanner, Jason Warehime, and Tina
Goede. Councilmember Tom Darkenwald arrived at 2:27 PM. Staff: Adam Flaherty, City
Administrator/Finance Director; Dave Kendall, City Attorney; Daniel Licht, City Planner; Ron
Wagner, City Engineer; Kevin Lamson, Street Operation Manager; Ross Demant, Parks and
Recreation Director; Kurt Neidermeier, Utility Manager; and Tami Loff, City Clerk.
1. Coronavirus Disease 2019.
Mayor Stockamp noted for the record that the Council is proceeding under MN State Statute
13D.021 allowing Council members to appear by telephone or video conference due to the
ongoing health pandemic and state of emergency.
City Administrator/Finance Director Flaherty gave an update on the current status of laptops
and software needed for employees to work from home. He stated after talking with IT Rob
Snavely we are able to still use the old computers that were switched out this year per the CIP
equipment plan which will save on purchasing of some of the laptops that were requested
previously.
A draft Pandemic Emergency Response Plan was presented to the City Council. City
Administrator/Finance Director Flaherty reviewed the Administration and Building Safety
Department; Street Operations Manager Lamson presented the Public Works Department; Parks
and Recreation Director Demant presented the Parks and Recreation Department; Utility
Manager Neidermeier presented the Utility Department; City Planner Licht presented the
Planning and Code Enforcement Department; and City Engineer Wagner presented the
Engineering Department. The City Council concurred as presented and thanked City staff for
their work on this plan.
2. Adjourn.
CM Warehime motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Goede. All in favor. Motion
carried. Adjourned at 4:10 PM.
