BACKG RO UN D/J USTI FI CATION:
The Water Tower Recondition project was initiated in late March including mobilization and other tower
preparations. Viking Painting, LLC, has submitted Pay Request #1 for work completed through March 31,
2020. The request was reviewed by KLM Engineering, Inc. providing recommendation for approval of
payment in the amount of $106,188.15.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding 5% retainage of work completed, which
accounts to $5,588.85 at this time.
