BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Bank of Elk River continues to make the promotion of health and wellness in Otsego Community a
priority. To show their commitment, they would again like to partner with the Otsego Parks and
Recreation Department to provide free and reduced recreational opportunities throughout the year
2020 will mark eight years that The Bank of Elk River and the Otsego Parks and Recreation Department
have partnered to provide greater access to recreational opportunities within the Otsego community.
During that time, The Bank of Elk River has donated over $41,000 and hundreds of volunteer hours.
The City is thankful for The Bank of Elk River's contribution and commitment to the Otsego Community and
looks forward to continuing this partnership.

RESOLUTION NO: 2020-42
ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE BANK OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, The Bank of Elk River has made a cash donation of $1,000.00 to the City of Otsego Parks; and
WHEREAS, the donation to the City is for the purpose of supporting provisions of community events in
through the Parks and Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property
be accepted only with adoption of a resolution of the governing body; and
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks The Bank of Elk River for their generous donation and for
its support of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the donation from the Bank of Elk River in the amount of $1,000 has been hereby
accepted.
