RESOLUTION NO: 2020-54
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRUNK WATERMAIN AND
CONSTRUCTION OF WATER TOWER #4
WHEREAS, The City Council on August 10, 2020, entered into a purchase agreement for the purchase of
real property for the purpose of constructing a future water tower; and,
WHEREAS, the purchase agreement is pending the favorable outcome of certain due diligence work to
ensure the soils of the site are adequate for the construction of a water tower; and,
WHEREAS, the due diligence has been performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City has not yet received the results of the due diligence; and,
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 24th day of August 2020, ordering Hakanson
Anderson to prepare plans and specifications for the installation of trunk watermain and construction of
water tower #4.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA THAT:
Pending the favorable outcome of due diligence being conducted on the future water tower site.
Hakanson Anderson is hereby designated as the engineer for these projects, and are hereby
directed and authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the making ofsuch improvements.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 24th day of August, 2020.
