City staff recommends City Council approval of Pay Estimate #1 to ASTECH Corporation.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The 2020 Street Micro -Surfacing Project has been completed. Original Bid amount was for $198,524.40;
however, a minor work order in the amount of $28,995.18 was added to the project to include 85th Street
just west of CSAH 42 and the south and west legs of the intersection of 80th Street and Maclver Avenue
where the fog seal had worn away and the old striping was confusing motorists with the new striping.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding 5% retainage of work completed, which
accounts to $11,375.98 at this time which is sufficient to cover the items remaining.
