BACKGROUND/J USTI FICATION:
The Fleet Vehicle Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) includes $89,870 for the addition of Compact Track
Loader for the Utility Department. The equipment is necessary for chemical tote setting at the Municipal
Wastewater Facility Biosolids Processing Building sized to facilitate weights and lift heights. The Compact
Track Loader has compatibility with existing implements, provides alternate use flexibility and will have
interdepartmental availability.
The Compact Track Loader was discussed at the October 21, 2020 Public Works Subcommittee providing
recommendation to include tracks with the machine and proceed with the purchase as part of the Biosolids
Building project.
