City Staff is recommending City Council approval of Pay Estimate #2 to Widmer Construction, LLC.

BACKGROUND/J USTI FICATION:
All work for the 70th Street Trunk Watermain to Otsego Water Tower #4 project has now been completed.
All testing has also passed. Pay Estimate #2 includes payment for the remainder of the watermain, traffic
control, turf establishment and site restoration including the paving of the bituminous trail near Martin
Farms. This pay estimate includes Change Order #1 for adding impact attenuator systems to the end of the
concrete jersey barriers along CSAH 38 as required by Wright County right-of-way permit.
In accordance with Minnesota Statute, the City is withholding the maximum of 5% retainage of work
completed, which accounts to $17,812.67 at this time until final acceptance in the spring of 2021.
