No Yes — Held on December 14, 2020 BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: The City Council annually reviews the proposed fee schedule to be adopted as part of the City Code for the upcoming year. A public hearing is required to be held for consideration of fees charged as part of a zoning or subdivision approval. City staff has outlined the adjustments to the fee schedule for 2021 in the attached draft. Items to note include: Utility Availability/Connection Charges and Storm Water Impact Charges: The increases in these development fees are based on of an index from Engineering News -Record (ENR) from November 2019 to November 2020. The increase for 2021 is 1.70 percent. Park Dedication Fee: An increase in the park dedication cash fee in lieu of land for residential subdivisions reflects the current estimated land value for undeveloped property within the Sewer District established by the Comprehensive Plan as determined by the Wright County Assessor's office for 2021.
