RESOLUTION NO: 2021-06
APPROVING EXECUTION OF QUIT CLAIM DEED TRANSFERRING
PROPERTY TO MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego previously conveyed property to the Minnesota Department of
Transportation in connection with a public improvement project; and
WHEREAS, the property was previously conveyed from the City to the Department of Transportation on
January 11, 2010 and recorded in the office of the County Recorder in and for Wright County,
Minnesota, on February 23, 2010, as Document No. 1141037; and
WHEREAS, the original quitclaim deed contained an error, and a Corrective Quitclaim Deed is required
to remedy that error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. The City of Otsego, in order to correct the deed dated January 11, 2010, shall convey and
quitclaim to the State of Minnesota the real property described in the Corrective Quitclaim Deed for
Parcel 310C.
2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby directed to execute necessary transaction documents,
as provided by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

state of Minnesota, Grantor, hereby conveys and quitclaims to the State of Minnesota,
Grantee, real property in Wright County, Minnesota, described as follows:
All of Tract A described below:
Tract A. That part of Government Lot 1 and the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 26, Township 121 North, Range 23 West, Wright County,
Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at Right of Way Boundary
Corner B17 as shown on Minnesota Department of Transportation Right of Way
Plat No. 86-112 as the same is on file and of record in the office of the County
Recorder in and for said County; thence southerly on an azimuth of 201
degrees 51 minutes 36 seconds along the boundary of said plat for 165.53 feet
to Right of Way Boundary Corner B16; thence on an azimuth of 231 degrees 21
minutes 00 second for 197.69 feet, more or less, to Right of Way Boundary
Corner B12 as shown on said Plat No. 86-112; thence on an azimuth of 136
degrees 08 minutes 25 seconds for 274.55 feet to the point of beginning of
Tract A to be described; thence continue on an azimuth of 136 degrees 08
minutes 25 seconds for 286.62 feet; thence on an azimuth of 176 degrees 50
minutes 35 seconds for 359.80 feet; thence on an azimuth of 266 degrees 50
minutes 35 seconds for 47.57 feet; thence on an azimuth of 333 degrees 19
minutes 50 seconds for 301.12 feet; thence deflect to the right on a tangential
curve, having a radius of 443.87 feet and a delta angle of 39 degrees 43
minutes 09 seconds, for 307.71 feet to the point of beginning;
containing 1.56 acres, more or less;
together with all right of access, being the right of ingress to and egress from Tract A
hereinbefore described to the lands adjacent thereto.
