02-11-21 Special City Council MinutesSPECIAL OTSEGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2021 5:30 PM Call to Order. Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 5:31 PM. Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Jeff Dahl, Brittany Moores, Tina Goede, and Tom Darkenwald. City Staff: City Clerk Audra Etzel. This meeting is proceeding under MN State Statute 13D.021 allowing members to appear by telephone or video conference due to the ongoing health pandemic and state of emergency. Those indicated with a (*) attended via video conference. 1. Advisory Commission Interviews. The Council interviewed the following applicants: A. Dan Freiberg — Public Safety Commission B. Gail Anderson (*) — Heritage Preservation Commission C. Laurie Jones — Planning Commission D. Richard Nichols (*) — Planning Commission E. Pamela Black (*) — Planning Commission and Heritage Preservation Commission F. Corey Tanner — Planning Commission and Public Safety Commission G. Jim Breitbach (*) — Public Safety Commission H. Jason Warehime (*) — Public Safety Commission I. Alan Offerman — Planning Commission J. Mark Wolf — Public Safety Commission K. Angie Dehn — Parks and Recreation Commission L. Toni Seroshek (*) — Heritage Preservation Commission Brad Smith — Planning Commission (did not interview) The City Council concurred to reappoint Pamela Black, Richard Nichols and Alan Offerman to the Planning Commission; and Reappoint Angie Dehn, ask Laurie Jones if is she would be interested in being appointed and ask Corey Tanner if he would be the alternate to Park & Recreation Commission; and Reappoint Gail Anderson and Toni Seroshek to the Heritage Preservation Commission; and Reappoint Dan Freiberg and Jim Breitbach, move David Greeman from the alternate position and appoint Mark Wolf as the alternate to the Public Safety Commission; and Advisory commissioners will serve a four-year terms starting March 1, 2021, expiring on February 28, 2025; except David Greeman expiring on February 29, 2024; and Page 1 of 2 A resolution appointing the advisory commissioners as noted above will be added to the February 22, 2021 City Council consent agenda for approval. City Clerk Etzel will notify all the applicants. 2. Adjourn. CM Goede motioned to adjourn at 8:50 PM. Seconded by CM Darkenwald. Roll Call: In favor; Goede, Stockamp, Darkenwald, Moores and Dahl.
