AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff recommends approval of an extension of the final plat approval for Villas at Kittredge Crossings. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: The City Council approved a PUD Development Stage Plan, preliminary plat, final plat and execution of a development contract at their meeting on 22 March 2021 for the proposed Villas at Kittredge Crossings development. Section 10-5-3.B.8 of the Subdivision Ordinance requires that the final plat be recorded within 100 days of City Council approval, unless an extension is approved by the City Council. This deadline is 30 June 2021. The developer, Otsego’s Finest Homes, LLC, is requesting an extension to 30 August 2021 to execute the development contract and record the final plat. The developer has discussed with City staff that the extension is necessary to finalize their grading plan for the subject site in accordance with the project approvals.
