Absent: Jeff Stimac
Meeting called to order at 6:40pm.
Agenda was approved unanimously
- Still waiting on Jan. 8th meeting minutes (Jeff was absent)
Open Forum- John Hinnekamp wanted an update on his neighborhood- hopefully Butch
will be available to attend the next meeting.
Old Business
1. McGruff Contest Update- Jane, Denise and Jessica updated the group on McGruff
contest that they plan on having at Otsego Elementary in March. They plan on
having a coloring contest for k-1, and a "create you own McGruff'sign for the 2-
5th. They are contacting local businesses to see about getting prizes. * If they are
unable to get prizes donated they will be looking at seeking funds from Police
Comm. Budget or city council. They will have a lst, 2aa & P prize levels for each
grade and 1 grand prize. These flyers will be distributed on March 5th & need to
be returned March 14th – Winners will be announced on the 20th. They would like
the city council to acknowledge the winners in April.
2. Restaurant Tents- Joel was unable to distribute the flyers last month, but will
complete this project this month with the help of Rob & John.
New Business
1. New Appointment of offices-
Jane- Chair, Denise- Vice Chair, Rob- Secretary.
* The group also requested that an officer be present at the meetings they have not
been able to come for the last 2 months; Jessica will talk to Tami/ Mike to forward
the reminder
