Some specific neighborhood crimincal activity was addressed and been resolved.

- Paul shared information about `NIXIE', an internet based community awareness
program to keep citizens updated on timely safety concerns. This information was sent
out with some National Night materials.
Old Business:
- Police Commission's application for Adopt a Street is ready for submission. The group
decided to adopt Nashua Ave — in front of the City Hall. Clean up date is scheduled for
October 4, 2009 @ 1aOOpm. Meet at the City Hall if you can help!
- National Night Out — 17 registered hosts in the city, estimated that about 1500 people
attended in the community. Target donated all paperware, their donation is greatly
appreciated! Considerations for next year; ensuring all service departments can attend
each site. Committee discussed having a central location at city hall for all fire/rescue and
neighborhoods could come to city hall. Committee discussed idea and disregarded it as
the reason for National Night out is to get neighbors together in their neighborhood. This
would retract from that objective.
- Festival Work Times, We will finalize these at Sept. meeting. PC members
encouraged wear the Adopt -a -Road vests and we will get the recent article from the
Otsego View on Adopt -a -Road. We also hope to have a consolidated McGruff and
