AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff recommends the City Council accept the quotes for the 2021 trail maintenance project. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: Each year the City budgets for preventative maintenance on the 39 miles of paved trails throughout the City. Funding for this maintenance comes from Trails Management fund. Staff is recommending that the 2021 project focus on crack filling all of the trails throughout the City. Because of the volume of maintenance that is required, Staff have requested quotes using linear foot criteria, verse identifying and measuring each crack that would need maintenance. The budget for maintenance this year is $33,000. The City received two quotes, included in the packet, with Asphalt Concrete Solutions, Inc.
