The second sentence of the tenth paragraph of the May 28,1998 minutes was changed to read "The

changed to two sentences reading "Ron Black was present and left early. Alternate Janet

Elaine had typed 24 pages double spaced from Edith Kiichli Kluge's notes about life at the
Ingersoll house. Elaine asked if the commission wanted a booklet made. We recommended the
text be put onto a computer disk. Joy will talk to someone who can help with this. The consensus
of the commission was to proceed.
Ron announced a memo from Mike Robertson requests the attendance of all city commission
members at an August 17, 1998, meeting at city hall.
Joy spoke about our supply needs. Ron will check on our supply request.
Mike Robertson and the city council will be needing our proposed budget for 1999 soon. Ron
wants us to think about our budget between now and the next meeting.
Joy mentioned the June 13, 1998, city council minutes contained a statement that the OHPC was
not pleased with the services of Robert Vogel. Council members Suzanne Ackerman
and Virginia Wendel (who was available during a break from another meeting she was attending at
city hall) discussed this with the commission. The OHPC is not displeased with the services of
Robert Vogel and we wanted this clarified to the council.
Heritage Day will be October 11,1998. Ron is checking on a bus for tours. Arlene wanted to hold
a special meeting to plan for Heritage Day. Ron suggested that Arlene and Joy assign tasks and
check with the commission members about the assigned tasks,
Joy moved to adjourn, Elaine seconded. The meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM.
Respectfully submitted, Joanie Nichols, Secretary
