Thursday, April 26, 2001
Chair Joy Swenson called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. Joanie Nichols, Elaine Norin, Arlene
Holen, Frieda Lobeck and Sharon Carter were present. Norm Schwanbeck was absent. Council
member Jerry Struthers was in the building and available (he was attending the taxation meeting
and arrived at 8:40 PM after the taxation meeting. g
There was no business transacted at the March 22, 2001 meeting due to lack of a quorum.
Members present were Joy Swenson, Arlene Holen and Frieda Lobeck. Members absent were
Joanie Nichols, Elaine Norin and Norm Schwanbeck. Council member Jerry Struthers was
present. Acting Secretary Frieda Lobeck reported this.
ELAINE MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 22, 2001 MEETING.
SECONDED BY ARLENE. MOTION CARRIED.
Frieda submitted an updated written book report. A copy is attached.
Sharon Carter was introduced as a new commission member. A discussion followed about the
commission.
Joy reported on the Barn Again workshop sponsored by SHPO.
Elaine reported that David Humphrey had donated two volumes of letters that Dr. Borthwick
received when he retired.
Elaine will make copies of the city ordinance regarding the OHPC and the bylaws of the OHPC for
Sharon Carter.
Frieda and Arlene needed to leave at 8:30 PM.
Elaine moved to adjourn, Sharon seconded. The meeting adjourned at 9:20 PM.
We meet again on Thursday evening May 24, 2001 at 7:00 PM at City Hall.
