Call to Order:
Chair person, Ron Black, called the meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. Jeannine Christensen
seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Approve the Minutes:
Ron motioned to adopt the amended minutes of May 22, 2003. Motion was seconded
and carried.
Book Sales Report:
Jeannine Christensen recounted and corrected the historical books that have been sold to
date.
Old Business:
Ron Black suggested meeting with the City Planner regarding the McDonald/Peavy
house.
Ron made a motion to request the City Planner to meet with us to discuss the preservation
concerns. Chris Wilson seconded the motion. Motion carried.
New Business
Budget request for this year will be approximately $10-$15K.
■ Submit a list of actions to be carried through the year.
*Designate the cemetery as a city historical site.
*Designate the peavey/McDonald house as a historical site.
■ Read the Ordnance which is adopted to establish this Commission.
Other Business
Joy Swenson will bring "How to Interview" tapes to our next meeting.
The Otsego Town Hall, which is currently used as a Head Start, may eventually be the
residence for this Commission.
Joel Coles will not be attending the July 24a' meeting.
