RESOLUTION NO: 2021-71
ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM CENTERPOINT ENERGY
WHEREAS, CenterPoint Energy has awarded a Community Safety Grant in the amount of $2,500 to the
City of Otsego; and
WHEREAS, the Community Safety Grant is for the purpose of providing safety and emergency
equipment and will be used to purchase two additional 800mhz radios; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property
be accepted only with adoption of a resolution of the governing body; and
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego sincerely thanks CenterPoint Energy for their generous donation and for
its support of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the Community Safety Grant donation from CenterPoint Energy in the amount of $2,500 is
hereby accepted.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 27th day of September, 2021.
