Staff recommends approval of Schluender Construction to complete a spring biosolids application for
the West Wastewater Treatment Facility.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
A spring biosolids application is proposed from the West Wastewater Treatment Facility to inspect and
repair mixer nozzles at the base of the Facility's storage tank. Approximately 300,000 gallons of product
will be hauled onto local sites.
Schluender Construction Company provided the low quote at $0.039/gallon with no mobilization
charges for a projected cost of $11,700.
